Sony Phones
Sony phones may be compatible if they use the Qualcomm RIL (/system/lib/libril-qc-qmi-1.so).
Recent firmware versions have an incompatible baseband software, which doesn't work with the app. Be sure to test with the trial version first. Maybe flashing an older baseband software fixes the problem, like for the Nexus 5.
Compatible (Confirmed) |
Xperia S (LT26i) |
Maybe compatible (Not yet confirmed. Please tell me if you could successfully run the trial app!) |
Xperia Acro S (LT26w) Xperia Ion (LT28h) Xperia TX (LT29i) |
Not compatible | Xperia P Xperia U Xperia Sola Xperia Go |
rSAP works on stock Sony ROMs. CyanogenMod may have difficulties with the SIM state changes and crash when starting and/or stopping an rSAP connection.
Be sure to test first with newer phones, since recently many Qualcomm phones use incompatible baseband software!
1 Be sure to test your Xperia SP with the trial version. There have been reports of incompatibility. Maybe the problems were caused by the SIM card, maybe not.
2 Newer baseband software doesn't seem to work. Flash baseband software from 4.3 firmware to fix this.
